17 Kurn Hattin Students Selected for District Music Festival

November 17, 2010 | Westminster, Vermont – Seventeen Kurn Hattin Homes’ students have been selected to perform in the District VI Connecticut Valley Music Festival.

The 4:00 p.m. performance on November 20th at Brattleboro Union High School will feature selected musicians from Southeastern Vermont’s middle and high schools.  Performing are the District High School Concert Band, District High School Jazz Choir, District Middle School Jazz Band and District Middle School Chorus. The Kurn Hattin students will be performing in the District Middle School Chorus. The Festival is directed by guest conductor, Colleen Thompson. This event is sponsored by the Vermont Music Educators Association. The Kurn Hattin music program is under the direction of Lisa Bianconi.
