Adopt-A-Cottage Sponsors Get Involved at Kurn Hattin
“If you could wake up tomorrow with one new talent or ability, what would it be and why?” was one of several questions both adults and children queried on Adopt-a-Cottage Sponsor Night, September 6, 2018 at Kurn Hattin Homes for Children.
Individuals, club and business members, joined their ‘adopted’ children’s residences (cottages) for a fun icebreaker activity, a delicious dinner, and a cottage tour after having previously donated funds to supply their cottages with needed items, such as new curtains, bedding, and mattresses. The Adopt-a-Cottage program provides the sponsors a special opportunity to not only support Kurn Hattin, but also have fun and spend time getting to know the children.
Kurn Hattin thanks all the Adopt-a-Cottage sponsors for their generous support and the meaningful time they spend with the children: Cota & Cota, Kerry & Christopher Auld, Keene Elm City Rotary Club and Dave & Lisa Therrien; Tony Maiola, Elizabeth Woodhull Maiola, Joel Woodhull Maiola, Dawn Woodhull Maiola Ranney and Richard, Gassett; Mascoma Savings Bank; Savings Bank of Walpole; Streeter Contractors; True North Networks; and Whitney Blake Company.
