Kurn Hattin Celebrates 125th Anniversary with Fall Festival

On a beautiful day, Kurn Hattin held its 125th Anniversary Fall Festival. This free and fun event on Saturday Sept, 21, included: children’s games, fire truck aerial ladder rides, student circus performances, hayrides, fresh cider from our cider press, a photo booth, Native American horse painting, square dancing to live music, 16 craft and food vendors, a chili cook-off, and much more.
Kurn Hattin staff and volunteers participated in the celebrations, helping with various events.
Winners of the chili cook-off were as follows:

3rd Prize- Steve Harrison
Vegetarian Chili:
1st Prize- Beth Fitch
2nd Prize- Kathleen Gurney
Kids Choice:
