From learning the skill of archery to swimming, fishing, hiking, and indulging in delicious ice cream, the summer is filled with memorable moments and valuable experiences. The addition of new swing sets, provided by a generous grant, brings endless joy to the children, who love seeing how high they can soar. Eight-year old Christiana, expressed her delight, saying, “I love to swing because of how calming it is.”
While summer is often associated with relaxation and carefree days, Kurn Hattin Homes goes above and beyond to ensure that their youngsters are not only having fun but also developing important life skills. The organization’s dedicated staff work tirelessly to create a supportive environment that promotes personal growth, friendship, and self-confidence. Recent graduates may elect to take leadership training so that they can work with the younger students over the summer; others work on campus in other capacities.
