Kurn Hattin Homes Names One of the VTrans Snowplows

November 22, 2022

In the fall of 2021, schools from around Vermont submitted names for VTrans snowplows in their local maintenance district. Names chosen for the Agency of Transportation‘s Name A Plow Program were from creative and clever, to cute and silly.

The contest opened again this year to name the remaining fleet of snowplows. We are thrilled to announce that the Kurn Hattin Homes for Children’s snowplow name was one of the chosen!

“Catch My Drift, Kurn Hattin Homes for Children” is proudly displayed on one of the VTrans plows that will be serving the Vermont community this winter. Two VTrans Maintenance District plow operators visited KHH on November 17 to celebrate the second annual Vermont Plow Day. The students and staff enjoyed having their photo taken with their named plow truck, and the younger students being allowed to get inside and sound the horn. All the students were given a “Catch My Drift” sticker too!

What fun, and way to go Kurn Hattin Homes!
