Westminster, VT – On Wednesday, April 6 at 7:00 pm, jazz bands from six local schools and the Keene Jazz Orchestra will participate in the Annual Kurn Hattin Jazz Invitational.  The event will be held in the Higbie Auditorium in the Mayo Memorial Center at Kurn Hattin Homes. The schools participating are Brattleboro Area Middle School, Bellows Falls Union Middle School, Claremont Middle School, Vermont Academy, Kurn Hattin School and the Keene Jazz Orchestra. Tenor saxophonist, Scott Mullett, who is an alumnus of many world-class touring bands, including Woody Herman and Artie Shaw, leads the Keene Jazz Orchestra.
