December 1, 2010 | Westminster, Vermont – Kurn Hattin Homes’ Social Studies teacher, Richard Long received the 2009-2010 National Citizenship Education Teacher Award from the Vermont State Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Richard was nominated by Kurn Hattin Homes, Director of Educational and Residential Services, Thomas Fahner. On the certificate he was presented it states, Teachers change our society one day, one class lesson, one student at a time. There’s no more important job.
