Kurn Hattin to Host Invitational Cross Country Meets
September 25, 2011 | Westminster-Kurn Hattin Homes will be hosting the 2011 Invitational Cross-Country Meets in September and October.
Kurn Hattin is located on Kurn Hattin Road in Westminster, Vermont. The meets are on Wednesdays, September 28th, and October 19th. Walking the course starts at 3:30 p.m. and the meet starts at 4:00 p.m.
The events are open to girls and boys, grades 1-8 at no cost.
- Division I is 6, 7, 8 year olds for a half mile course.
- Division II is 9, 10, 11 year olds for a one mile course.
- Division III is 12, 13 & 14 year olds for a mile and a half (dirt & grass) course.
Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place finishers in each division for boys and girls. All runners are given a participation ribbon.
This event is sponsored by the Kurn Hattin Athletic Department. Organizations can sign up for one, two or all three meets. Meet Director is Mrs. Donna Fahner. Contact Dave Baldasaro at (802) 722-3336 (weekdays) for information or to register. Food & drink concession will be available.
No Entry fee.
