Seventeen Kurn Hattin Students Make The Cut For District VI Chorus
WESTMINSTER, VT – Kurn Hattin Homes for Children will be showcasing seventeen of their most talented student vocalists at the Brattleboro Union High School on Friday and Saturday, November 22 & 23. The seventeen 7th and 8th graders auditioned and were elected as members of the Connecticut River Valley District VI Middle School Chorus. The choral group will be participating in the Vermont Music Educators District VI Fall Music Festival. The children will perform with sixty-five other accomplished student singers from ten schools throughout Southeastern Vermont.
The middle school performance, conducted by Rob Fitch of the Dover, NH School District, will conclude a two day festival. The Kurn Hattin singers will be in a chorus that performs from 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 23rd. Kurn Hattin singers are: Lillian Cole, Breanna Holmes, Gamael Jean-Francois, Susanna Compare, Jessica Waite (Soprano); Sairy Bernardez, Kay-Lee Cherbonneau, Chrystal Longe, Brianna Pelchar (Alto); Musa Abdi, Kyle Fagan, Dan Greenspan, Amza Issa, Vincent Jarvis, Davion Nieves, and Jonathan Sherette (Bass). Congratulations to them, and to all of the participating students for their tremendous effort and accomplishment!
