Once the floor was completed (with the exception of the baseboard that’s coming soon), staff and teachers thought it would be fun to create a math exercise and contest for the children. Students were asked to calculate the total length, total square footage, and the number of tiles used for the new floor.
These students floored us with their answers! The winners are (from the left) Jasiah, Total Length; Daxton, Total Number of Tiles; Emmery and Kahlan both won Total Square Footage. For calculating the winning answers, each student received 250 Caught Being Good (CBG) coupons. These coveted CBG may be redeemed in the Kurn Hattin Homes store for a variety of items, including books, toys, games, and more. There are many ways to earn CBGs, and this way was a great learning experience.
