Beth Ross brings energy, vision, and deep relationship-building experience to her role as Director of Development at Kurn Hattin Home and School for Children. She specializes in connecting people to purpose, bringing together supporters, partners, and families to generate the resources that make Kurn Hattin’s mission possible.
Throughout her career, Beth has led ambitious initiatives that strengthen communities. She became an ICF-certified executive coach, traveled internationally to recruit students, and helped secure the commitments and funding needed to establish five community schools and a teen resource center within a California public school system. Her work reflects both strategic leadership and a belief in what’s possible when people collaborate around a shared goal.
At Kurn Hattin, Beth is passionate about working alongside families and supporters to ensure children have the opportunities they need to grow, discover their strengths, and build bright futures.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys making art, hiking in beautiful natural spaces, and attending live theater, experiences that inspire creativity and connection in her own life as well.
Erin Beaudry serves as Individual Giving Officer at Kurn Hattin Home and School for Children, focusing on relationship-based fundraising that connects supporters directly to the mission and impact of the school.
She specializes in individual donor engagement and stewardship, donor communications, and event-supported giving strategies that strengthen long-term support. Since joining the Kurn Hattin team, Erin has immersed herself in the organization’s history and purpose, building authentic connections with colleagues and supporters alike. Her work is rooted in honoring both the generosity of donors and the potential of the children they help serve.
Erin is passionate about community and meaningful work. She loves connecting with people and helping them feel part of something larger than themselves.
Outside of Kurn Hattin, Erin is active in motorsports and supports initiatives that encourage confidence, leadership, and opportunity for women and youth.
Elizabeth Olmstead serves as Development Officer at Kurn Hattin Home and School for Children, supporting donor engagement, special events, and the daily work of the development team.
She has played an important role in organizing and supporting key fundraising efforts, including the annual golf tournament, helping ensure events run smoothly and strengthen connections between supporters and the Kurn Hattin community.
Elizabeth is inspired by the progress she sees in students during their time at Kurn Hattin. “It’s extraordinary to witness the growth and accomplishments of our children,” she says. “It’s equally inspiring to be surrounded by staff, donors, and families who work together to support their success.”
Outside of her development work, Elizabeth has enjoyed sharing her love of golf with students, helping launch a new golf club on campus and introducing children to the game.
Martha Haas serves as Development Coordinator at Kurn Hattin Home and School for Children, bringing together strategy, storytelling, and community engagement to support the school’s mission.
She specializes in nonprofit development and communications, with experience in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and special events. Throughout her career, Martha has helped lead successful annual and capital campaigns, strengthened donor communications, supported board engagement, and expanded marketing efforts to increase visibility and participation.
At Kurn Hattin, Martha is passionate about mission-driven work that creates tangible impact. She enjoys helping the organization share meaningful stories, deepen relationships with supporters, and create opportunities where generosity and community come together.
Outside of work, Martha is a visual artist and graphic designer who creates Vermont-inspired artwork and illustrations. She enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for animals, tending a 100-year-old apple orchard, and participating in local community events.
